Meet the Clinician

Jenessa King, PA-C is the Physician Assistant and founder of Aria Health Direct Primary Care. Jenessa spent her formative years in Calhoun, Georgia before heading to college at Southern Adventist University near Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 2013, Jenessa made her way to Lincoln, Nebraska where she began her graduate studies at Union College Physician Assistant Program. After earning her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2016, Jenessa returned to Calhoun, Georgia to work alongside her father. Together, they launched Calhoun’s first hybrid Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice, offering an affordable primary care option to their community.

Through her work in this hybrid model—blending traditional fee-for-service with DPC—Jenessa developed a deep passion for making healthcare more affordable and accessible for everyone. She ultimately decided that the best way to achieve this goal was by opening a fully dedicated Direct Primary Care practice to serve the residents of Calhoun and surrounding areas.
